The Booking Process
Booking your photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make in the wedding planning process. 'Well of course you are going to say that, you are a wedding photographer' I hear your brain, quite rightly, chipping in... And obviously i do see great value in the work that i offer, but much more than that, as cliched as it sounds, good photographs really do become a time capsule of memories that can instantly transport you back time and time again to a precise moment. They can evoke feelings, emotion and spark a rush of memories that overtime, your brain will start to forget so it's crucial you pick a photographer who can achieve this for you. It helps if you like them as a person too - we are the one supplier who spends the most time with you throughout the day. There, that's it, that's my corny cliched salesy bit out of the way. But if you've come this far, you like my work and you think i might be a good fit for your day, i'd love to hear all about your plans.
When do we need to book?
As soon as possible. Photographers book up at 24 - 30 months ahead of your wedding and the longer you leave it, the less chance your chosen photographer will still have availability. Once you have secured your venue and your officiant, get your photographer secured at the same time. I would class a booking that's made 12 months or less out as a fairly last minute booking and as such availability is likely to be limited so being organised and booking early will ensure you get the suppliers that you want rather than having to go to plan B, C, D or E!
So how do we book?
So the first thing to do is check availability by filling out the form below, i'll check the diary and come back to you promptly. I'll also send you a quotation and when you are ready to go ahead and get that date secured, you will need to pay a none refundable deposit of £200 with the remaining balance becoming due two weeks prior to the wedding. The quotation will have a link for you to make your payments by card or you can do a bank transfer if you prefer. Once i have receipt of the deposit, i will send over a contract of our agreement for you both the sign and then once i have that back, that completes your booking and you can relax and tick 'Book Wedding Photographer' off your list of wedding admin to do.
First things first, let's keep everything crossed and check that i'm available for your date...
Please fill out the quick form attached and I will get back to you promptly with my availability for your date. If you provide a mobile number I will drop you a text to let you know when i have replied as i find those pesky junk folder gremlins sometimes jump on my emails, so it'll just be a heads up that there is an email on it's way.
I never go for the hard sell approach and so i will never hound you or harrass you, I want you to book me because you simply love my work and know i'll be the perfect fit for your wedding, so your personal details will never be used to bombard you with emails or calls. That is an absolute promise!
If you'd prefer to chat on the phone, please give me a call on 07966900551 or my direct email is info@photographybysamanthalowe.co.uk
I can't wait to hear all about your plans,
Sam
