If you are in the middle of planning your wedding, you may already have a few practical questions in mind. These are the ones I am asked most often, but if there is anything else you would like to know, you are always very welcome to get in touch.

My work is natural and story led, with a calm and unobtrusive approach. I focus on real moments and genuine emotion, while still paying close attention to light, perspective and timing, so the photographs feel beautifully considered as well as true to the day.
I am based in Staffordshire and photograph weddings across the Midlands and throughout the UK. I also travel for destination weddings, so if you are planning something further afield, I would love to hear more.
Most couples book between 12 and 24 months in advance, particularly for popular dates. If your wedding is sooner than that, it is always worth getting in touch as I do occasionally have availability.
Of course. Almost every couple says this, and it is completely normal. My approach is relaxed and natural, with gentle guidance where it is helpful, so you are never left feeling awkward or overly posed. The aim is always to let you enjoy the day while knowing you are being photographed in a flattering and thoughtful way.
I offer a choice of digital collections and album collections, depending on what feels the best fit for your day and what you want to come away with afterwards.
All collections include carefully edited digital images, delivered in an online gallery for download, sharing and printing. Coverage options vary depending on the collection selected, with some finishing earlier and others staying later into the evening.
For couples who know they want something more lasting than files on a screen, album collections include a beautifully made wedding album from the outset.
Digital images are wonderfully convenient, but an album gives the story of the day a more lasting place to live. It is something you can sit down with properly, return to easily, and enjoy for years to come. For many couples, it becomes the piece they treasure most once the wedding is over.
Yes. In the days following your wedding, you will receive a sneak preview of around 20 to 30 images. It is a lovely first glimpse of the day, chosen to reflect the atmosphere and key moments, and gives you something beautiful to enjoy and share while the full gallery is being prepared.

I do not work to a fixed number, as every wedding is different. The aim is always to deliver a carefully curated gallery that tells the story of the day properly, without padding it with repetition and without leaving out moments that matter. A safe average for full day coverage is over 600.
Your edited photographs will be ready within six weeks of the wedding. If your collection includes an album, the design process will begin once your image choices have been confirmed, and once you have approved the design, the album will be sent into production. During peak wedding season, album design may take around 4 to 6 weeks.
Yes. A second photographer can be added if your wedding day would benefit from it, particularly for larger weddings, separate morning preparations, or celebrations where there is a lot happening at once.
Yes. I am fully insured and regularly work at a wide range of venues, from exclusive country houses to modern wedding spaces and private estates. I am always happy to liaise with your venue or planner if needed.
To reserve your date, a £200 booking fee is required. Once that is in place, I will send over a booking questionnaire and contract so everything is confirmed clearly and smoothly. The remaining balance is then due two weeks before the wedding day.
Yes. A pre-wedding meeting, either in person or over Zoom, is arranged in the four weeks leading up to the wedding. This gives us time to go through your plans in detail and make sure everything is covered properly. You will also be asked to complete a planning questionnaire around four weeks before the day.
