Hello, I’m Samantha, although everyone calls me Sam.
I’m the photographer behind Samantha Lowe Photography, based in a small village just outside Stafford in Staffordshire, where I live with my husband and our daughter.
I’m based in Staffordshire and photograph weddings across the county, the Midlands and beyond for couples who want natural, elegant images and a calm presence throughout the day.
When I’m not photographing weddings or editing galleries, usually with a cup of tea close by, you’ll most likely find me at the farm with my horse, Dori. I’m naturally introverted, which suits my calm, unobtrusive way of working perfectly.
I’m drawn to beauty in the quieter details, soft light, nature, animals, a sense of atmosphere, and experiences that feel thoughtful and memorable. I love planning travel, discovering wonderful places to eat, and spending quality time with my family. I’m happiest outdoors with space to breathe, far away from the rush of a city, and my Corgi, Lady, is a very loved part of that world. Sundays often involve Formula One, a tradition passed down from my Dad that has stayed with me since childhood, and I will always have a soft spot for a little Disney magic.
After the birth of our daughter, I became acutely aware of just how quickly time moves. Details fade, seasons shift, and even the most meaningful moments can begin to blur around the edges. Photography became a way of holding onto them, not just how they looked, but how they felt.
What began as documenting family milestones soon grew into something much bigger. From equestrian portraiture and event coverage, my path naturally led me to weddings, where emotion, connection, atmosphere and beauty all come together.
I’ve always been drawn to meaningful details and genuine connection. Weddings are full of both, and it’s a privilege to document them in a way that feels natural, elegant and true to the day itself.
